Windows on Aruba

We arrived for our anniversary dinner at 6pm. We were impressed by the two massive chandeliers. We were greeted promptly by Sonja, escorted to our table. Seated by the window at the beautiful ninth green. The view was gorgeous.

Sonja asked if we were there for a special occasion, which we replied "for our 10th Wedding anniversary." She returned a few moments later with two glasses of champagne to start our beautiful evening. We felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Our waitress Carolina then proceeded to explain the nights selections. There were many tempting options but we decided on the Tomato Goat Cheese - cold appetizer and Cauliflower Soup - hot appetizer. For our entree we selected Shrimp and Scallops and Shrimp and Lobster both were excellent entrees. To our surprised they served us a delicious complimentary anniversary desert.

The personalized service throughout the night made us feel welcomed. This is at the top of our list any time we revisit Aruba.

This was our favorite discovery last year and it did not disappoint! Still our favorite for a lovely, fine dining experience. It was a pleasure to see Sonja the hostess and have Oscar take care of us again.
You have the beautiful panaramic views of the water and golf course, in the comfort of air conditioning.
For appetizers the spinach ravioli w/black truffles and the shrimp & escargot start the evening nicely. We then debate over the wide variety of tempting entrees. We go with last years favorite, the rack of lamb and the veal ribeye. Both as delicious as we remember! We look forward to every visit.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful. One of the best meals we had. Service was excellent. The hostess who seated us was lovely and attentive. The waitress was great. She was friendly and experienced. They made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant and there to serve us well. We mentioned that it was our birthday and they surprised us with a bottle of very good champagne. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Definitely a 10 all around.

Our dining experience at Windows was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Sonya, the hostess, made us feel like old friends. We were seated promptly and from that point forward we were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter, Alfredo, was friendly, outgoing and was very accommodating. Our dinner was wonderful, the presentation outstanding, service excellent. What a beautiful restaurant!! We were a party of 4 and were only dissapointed because this was our last night in Aruba and we had not dined here earlier in the week. We won't let that happen next year. Beautiful restaurant overlooking the golf course at the Divi. Food, presentation, service and the entire experience was wonderful. Very classy restaurant that you can dress casual in. The steak, sea bass, shrimp and scallops as well as appetizers were great. The Windows sampler dessert had 12 different items and was amazing. One of our best dining experiences in almost 20 years going to Aruba!

This was our first visit to this relatively new restaurant, and surely will not be our last, as we add it to our personal list of "do not miss" places. Unexpectedly elegant atmosphere, very good European-style preparation and presentation--overall, an excellent experience.

We were in aruba 1/24-2/8 and ate here 3 times! This was our 24th year on the island and had not been here before because I did not like the old menu.
What a wonderful surprise the new menu was! The sea bass was the best I have ever eaten, with a beautiful presentation. The crab & shrimp appetizer was a work of art, mixing fabulous tastes. The wines are also great. Our server, Alfredo, was very professional and friendly, adding to the overall very plesant dining experience. Can't wait to return next year!

My husband and I spent a wonderous evening in January,2010 at Windows on Aruba. From the moment you walk in and are seated, you feel as though you are the only guests. The service was impecable and the food delicious, both to the palate and the eye.We would certainly go back when we return to Aruba. Bon Apetit.

Me and My wife visit Aruba every year and the restaurants seam to get better and better. This was our first trip to Windows on Aruba and Wow; this one will be hard to top. The beef carpaccio appetizer was excellent and as you can see from my attached photo the beef tenderloin is scrumptious. And don’t forget to save room for the desert see photo 2 this is considered the brownie. And there service is second to none.
