"Elegant dining in flipflops"

Located at the beach near the airport at the roundabout. Owner Gerco (chef) and Luc (Maitre d') have created a unique dining experience where you can enjoy the best Aruba has to offer: a great view of the ocean and sunset, experienced and friendly staff and high quality food.
Ideal for special occasions or just a wonderful night out!

Vorig jaar hier heerlijk wezen eten! Wat een geweldige tent, heerlijk eten en leuke bediening. Ook het uitzicht is geweldig, prachtig aan het strand. Het is een paradijs op aarde! Volgend jaar hopen we zeker terug te kunnen komen!

Groetjes Rianne!

We have been coming to Aruba for many years. This is our our first visit to this restaurant. Staff attentive & very friendly. Table on the beach was wonderful. Best meal we had on our vacation. Wine list adequate, could be better. We definitely will be back next year. Luc is a great person, who stops at nothing to make your experience as good as possible.

We had dinner here on Nov 7, 2011. Awesome. Great setting, on the beach, great views. Under a large palapa is an option if you don't want to eat on the beach. Food was exceptional. Very generous portions. Definitely planning a return trip to Barefoot. Highly recommend.

AMAZING! I am so glad we tried this. By far my favorite restaurant on the island. We actually went twice it was so good. First time we sat inside which consisted of sitting under a giant palapa. The floor was wood, like a deck, but our table sat in sand. Very nice. The second night we sat on the beach which was breathtaking. Both times I got the Caribbean Grouper which was topped with a mango cream cheese and a sauce (tasted more like a gravy) underneath. I don’t care for cream cheese but this was absolutely delicious. Also, my first time having grouper. My husband got Romance of the Sea which was grouper, snapper and mahi. He said it was excellent. For dessert I got the coffee crème brulee which was out of this world!!!!! It came in two small dishes with a shot glass of Tia Maria liquor mixed with vanilla ice cream, like a frappe. So good! This is our new must do.

Friends told us to go to Barefoot. At first we had some troubles to find it but after all it was easy, next to nikki beach. After a perfect appetizer, carpaccio, we had the delious beef tips. In the suberb ambiance it tasted perfect. Defenitely something to remember. Later this week we will visit again.

We have been at Barefootrestaurant two times during our actual holiday and probably will visit two times more (oct 2011). Barefoot was highly recommended by some friends at home. The food and ambiance were excellent. In our opinion, at the moment, the best in Aruba.

During the dinner we spotted the prime minister of Aruba, so it not all necessary barefoot's, but elegant dining also.

Simply the best by far. From the atmosphere to the service to the presentation to the flavor. We enjoyed Barefoot so much that we returned 3 nights later to celebrate a birthday and enjoy it once again. Thank you Luc and staff as you made both our visits to Barefoot quite memorable. We'll surely be back. (Oct. 2011)

We have been @ Barefoot 3 times during our holiday (Sept.23 - Oct.02 2011). Barefoot was highly recommended by some people who were staying at our appartments. All 3 nights the food was of excellent quality and the service provided by the staff was really good.
Also a plus was the owner giving us tips for dining at other restaurants and sights to see.

Concluding: we have not been disappointed at any moment! The ambiance of sitting on the beach, barefoot in the sand is just wonderful. Adding to the great feeling is the spectacular view just before sunset. When the sun has set the lights at Barefoot give a romantic atmosphere. Together with the excellent food and very good service, Barefoot is a place we would recommend any day of the week!

When we return to Aruba, Barefoot will definitely be a place we will be visiting again!
