We are located in the heart of downtown and offer you and your guests a unique dining experience. Enjoy the freshest fish, biggest shrimp, or the most succulent Caribbean lobster amid the rustic ambiance of the natural driftwood dining room. Our menu includes a large variety of typically Aruban delicacies including our three star fish soup and our mouth-watering filet of fish served with a mild creole sauce (Aruban Style), a seafood lovers dream come true. Furthermore all dishes are prepared with an Aruban touch and accompanied by pan bati, our famous Aruban corn bread.

We had the BEST food at Driftwood. We had intended to go to Rumba, but it was closed for the night. We went around the corner to Driftwood, and had a great dinner. THere were 5 of us. $ had the catch of the day, barracuda, and one had a steak. Food great!!! A little expensive, but in line with some of the other restaurants we went to on vacation. One thing I am sorry about, I miss calculated the tip and didn't leave enough (I thought of this at about 3 AM and it kept me up)...and after we had such great service and food.

First night in Aruba and we asked our taxi driver for a great seafood place - disappointment followed. The atmosphere was OK and we were lucky enough to get a table by an aquarium until we figured out that there were only 3 small dull fish in it. It was over an hour before we were able to request drink menus, order, and get the drinks to the table. It was another hour before we got our food. Prices were slightly high but not ridiculous and the seafood was well prepared and tasted good. Overall experience was over 3 hours during which we had to nearly beg for the 3 rounds of drinks we had - service was definitely working on "Island Time" Would not waste my limited vacation time in the future.

The concierge at the hotel recommended this for seafood. We were not disappointed in the food. My wife ordered a surf and turf (lobster and filet), I ordered the fresh catch of the day (barracuda) served Aruban style. The dinners and service were very good. We will return there on our next visit.

Dissapointing, mediocre at best. The Dining room was mostly empty but we felt rushed for some reason. The Hot plate Conch was cold as was the Sampler skewers. Not a place we wil go back to.

Overcooked wahoo and indifferent service takes Driftwood off of my list of restaurants after several satisfactory visits in the past.

Got there at 7pm it had 5 tables occupied. Michael the waiter seemed to rush us. The appetizers were salty. The catch of the day-wahoo was overcooked(panfried). Michael said not to order the wahoo grilled, I should not have listened. The Peach whatever dessert was icecream and strawberry syrup.totally unenjoyable for our last night of a great week in ARUBA.Thanks for nothing MIKE!

My family and I loved Driftwood. I recommend the grouper, tuna and lobster crepe for an appetizer,. You wont be disappointed. There was enough food that we had no room for dessert. Great service and a real nice bar!

This was our first visit to Aruba and the Driftwood. The concierge at our downtown hotel pointed it out on a map and we had no trouble walking to it. I had the sea bass with a coconut curry sauce which was superb. My wife had the salmon and she was very pleased with it. Our reservation was at 6:30 so the restaurant was not crowded and the service was very good.
