Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

This is the worst restaurant i have eaten at in Aruba! Well...Maybe Tony Romas is a close second. We were looking forward to the Screaming Eagle, but were grossly disappointed. The food was bad, the service was terrible and management could not care less. I cannot belive how this place stays rated so high. It seems like half of the reviews are poor! Stay away from this one.

I would like to have been able to give you all number ratings in the other categories, however for the first time in my 32 years I got up and left the table and restaurant before ordering. It started the moment we walked through the door. After standing beside the concierge at my hotel while she booked the reservation in the "bed" area and having her even ask the second time assure we got one of the beds, we arrived at 8pm to find out the bed area would be closed for a private function. We were then asked if we could sit outside instead because the event started at 10:30pm. Now I told them that 2.5 hours wouldn't be a problem and I would like to sit inside. Well after seeing 20 minutes of non-service I could see why 2.5 hours could be a problem for them. After waiting 10 minutes for a waiter to arrive and finally take a bottle of wine order, we waited another 10 for him to arrive with a different bottle to tell us they were out of the one we ordered. Figuring they were giving me the higher priced alternative I asked for another bottle that we had seen listed and he said they were out of that as well. He then explained the menu and notified us of the 4 entrees they were out of that night. So now 2 bottles of wine and 4 entrees are gone. I asked if I could see the wine list again. After not seeing the waiter for another 5 minutes I had enough and just left. They have good bread and water. That's all I can tell you. I read a comment by a Mark on here. He must have been there the same night as me cause I got the "very busy bartender excuse" as well. There were 4 people at the bar. They need to take a lesson from their other place the Fishbone where I had a great experience. This place was a nightmare.

what a terrible restaurant - the worst we have eaten in in Aruba in 8 years. They could not find a wine list to give to us, we had to wait forever for drinks because the bartender "must have been very busy", the waiter was so overworked he had no time for us, the appetizers did not come at the same time for our entire party and the soup was cold, we never got the coffee we ordered, we had to ask for bread several times, and while we were leaving the kitchen staff were playing in front of the restaurant and we nearly got hit by a flying egg that one member of the staff heaved at another - it missed him and it flew across the entrance right in front of where we were standing waiting for our cab. They thought it was very funny - I did not. I would never return to this restaurant

We had heard good things about this restaurant and were looking forward to dining there. It is beautiful and love the fact that there is outdoor seating. The caesar salad was mediocre and the entrees were just above average. Watch out for the white chocolate mousse...didn't taste like chocolate and had the consistency of chiffon...not worth the calories. Check your bill...we were charged $2 extra for each glass of wine than was printed on the menu...said they hadn't updated their menu. In their favor, the manager did make an adjustment to the check and did not charge us for the dessert but I think there is much better dining on the island.

I agree with the prior post, and am surprised at all of the positive food reviews for this restaurant.

In terms of decor, the place certainly looks nice, and is trendy and upscale. It looks as if it was transplanted from South Beach, Florida, which is a good thing and a refreshing alternative to the casual beach bars.

However, the service and quality of food does not match the prices. From my perspective, more attention is being paid to the decor and drinks that to the food, which was mediocre.

We visited Aruba over Thanksgiving for 7 nights. We spent 3 of those nights having amazing dinners at Screaming Eagle. It was FABULOUS! We sat at the bar and shared appetizers and entrees. The atmosphere is trendy and comfortable. Harold our bartender was knowledgeable and fun! The one owner and the chef (forgot their names!) were incrediblely gracious and friendly. The chef visited us several times during our meals - - and we could only rave.

We tried the Ahi Tuna Tartare (3 times), Creme Brulee of duck liver (rich and divine), carpaccio of tenderloin - magnificent(2 times), carpaccio of artichoke, ceviche, the most amazing filet cooked "barside", and then the la tazza famossa dessert (2 times). Everything was perfect! And how often do you have something more than once and its never as good the 2nd or 3rd time?! Here it was perfect each time.

If only we could pack them up and bring them to PA, it would be perfect.

Do not miss this magnificient dining experience!

Beautiful restaurant. Very impressive decor. The food was very good and the service fabulous. I had visited their other restaurant on my other visit to the island and was very impresses. This one is a shorter trip and equally as good. Just a sensational evening and a restaurant that i will recommend to anyone visiting the island

We ate at The Screaming Eagle because we read such wonderful reviews. The food and atmosphere were fabulous. We had Caesar salad, salmon and Thai shrimp. Everything was delicious. It was, however, very noisy in the restaurant, and we found the service mediocre for the caliber of this restaurant.
