There's no doubt that this is the best restaurant in Aruba. It is elegant, the food is outstanding (the surf & turf was perfect), the service could not have been friendlier or more efficient, and the atmosphere with the terrific jazz saxpohonist was perfect. A wonderfully romantic evening. Some may say it's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. We think it was a bargain. We're going back for seconds!

This was a very lesiurely satisfying experience. We went on a Tuesday evening and a jazz saxaphonist played throughout dinner. Food was good after dinner drinks excellent. Staff couldn't have been friendly. Will definitely make this a yearly visit.

This is my favorite restaurant in Aruba. Excellent food, service and a beautiful view all combine to make this a must stop for every visit to an island noted for outstanding restaurants.

This is without question in our opinion the best restaurant in Aruba. Service was perfect (our server's name was Edward). He let us have a leisurely dinner with just the right amount of service. Also at the beginning he asked if he could take our picture and we had 3 taken with the golf course, sea, and sunset in the background. I would highly recommend that people make reservations for about 6:30 so you can enjoy the sunset!

I had the surf and turf and my wife had the red snapper both of which were amazing. The escargot as the appetizer was the best I have had. Plus they have a trio of chocolate dessert which was great.

Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely return on our next visit to Aruba.

My friend and I ate here on our second night on the Island. Everyone talks about the gorgeous views of the golf course; well we got the view of a pool. The restaurant was pretty empty. I would guess only about 4 other tables besides us. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my friend had the grouper special. The food is very good. The portions were a little on the small side considering what you're paying. The place is very nice, elegant and the food is very good but there are better restaurants on the island.

We were visiting Aruba August 2-9, 2007.
Ventanas del Mar is one of our regular stops. The food is good, the sunset on the golf course makes pretty pictures. The setting is romantic, with a sax player playing nice music.
You are never rushed, so you can relax over a couple of after dinner drinks and enjoy the entertainment.

My husband and I ate there and were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The view of the golf course and ocean was breathtaking! When they served us the corn chowder, we had to ask for the recipe, and then the Chilean Sea Bass with Scallops was to die for. We were so full we were not going to get dessert, but when they brought the dessert to the table next to ours, we couldn't say no looking at the mouth watering chocolate trio. Needless to say, this was our favorite restaurant in Aruba. Driving through the gates is like entering a landscaped Oasis!!

I recently celebrated my birthday with close friends at sunset at Ventanas. Prior to my dinner, I made arrangements with the manager and hostess. To my pleasant surprise...they made a beautiful setting outside, with a spectacular view. The food exquisit, service excellent, they exceeded my expectations. Everyone was impressed !
My outmost gratitute to the staff and specially chef Jim.

Went here our last night in Aruba, new chef formally @ Chez Mathilde. Everything was great. Sea Scallop Appetizer very good. Filet Mignon as good as any on the Island. Chef is out in the restaurant checking at every table and seems to really care about the quality of the food. Wished we went our first week we would have come back again.
