Aruban Cuisine

Aruba’s culinary traditions were born out of the abundance of the sea. From the time that the first people populated Aruba, conch, tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, grouper and snapper were staples brought home by island fishermen and shared amongst the community with a sense of celebration. Today fresh seafood still comprises a favorite dish, with traditional meals accented by native herbs and spices.
